I purchased two hOmeLabs dehumidifier’s earlier this year. One arrived defective with a whistling noise and the second collected no water at all. They sent me another and it did even power on. I basically had to dispose of their garbage because although they refunded me they didn’t want the units back. The Frigidaire worked best for me but it stopped working after 11 months of use.

This review, I dunno, it's focusing on the wrong things with dual hose. Anyone who's purchased a single hose unit is confounded by the fact that cool air comes out of the unit, but the room is not cooled. You are only cool if you sit right in front of the unit. When they switch to a dual hose, suddenly the room gets cool too, and stays cool. The pressure difference caused by single hose is the primary inefficiency, period. Just like running a fire place on a cold day only gives warmth in front of the fireplace, the rest of the house becomes freezing because the heat roaring up the chimney sucks air out of the room causing cold air to be sucked in from the outside throughout the house, making the entire house colder.

I only have hardwood floors and rugs, so the moping function is a great highlight. I want you to create a video for high-end robot mop/vac devices such as the Eufy S1 Pro, X10 Pro Omni, and Dyson 360 Vis Nav.

Right out of the box, our Dyson Gen5Absolute had a significant rattle coming from the carpet cleaning head. Customer service conceded that the part is out of stock with no date for when it will be available (this is a HUGE problem with Dyson), so the unit had to be replaced. Dyson offered to ship us an exchange as soon as UPS received the defective unit. We recorded this conversation. Nevertheless, the next day, after we delivered the defective unit to UPS, customer service informed us that this was untrue. Dyson would not do an immediate exchange, but would ship a new unit only after it received and processed the unit, which would take up to 3 weeks (while Dyson sat on our money and the warranty triggered by our initial purchase continued to run.) In short, Dyson lied. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was assured that supervisor would call me back. No call. Dyson lied again. Even before we bought the unit, we got a bad taste of Dyson’s honesty. Customer service assured us that Dyson would price-match QVC’s sale price. This, too, proved to be untrue. Yet another lie. The vacuum may be great, but beware of Dyson. False assurances and unavailable replacement parts are a REAL problem.

Seriously? EVERY AIR CONDITIONER uses warm outside air to cool its condenser. You gettin' a little scratcheroony to badmouth dual ducts? Single ducts suck air, it's already cooled, out of the room, and warm air into it. Dual duct is the only way to go.

Where is the Toshiba RAC-PT1412HVWRU? Is it not the same as the Midea? Confused as I need something tomorrow and the Toshiba is same day pickup vs waiting a day or 2 for the Midea with Amazon.

For just air purification in your home much cheaper options will compete with the rabbit air however, most people who buy these are buying them for cigar rooms and filtering out smoke smells which the cheaper unit will not do cigar rooms and man caves or what this unit is really geared toward

Dual vs Single hose isnt about efficiency its still MORE efficient because "Its more about the BTU cooling power or horse power and ROOM SIZE" literally mathematical room size, as they try to force you to hard wire electrician certified install to mains line with its own power circuit like an oven so you can draw way more power than most house hold appliances as vacuum cleaners and space heaters which can really heat a house up might be using 2000watts which is the common powerpoint here in australia a wall installed unit or a split system more costly has ratings of 3.2kilowatts often.. But how well can it cool compared to an 1800BTU portable AC? and the portable one goes into the power point socket not requiring its own circuit and therefore using less power and being 'efficient' by contrast. So the twin hose units tend to have extra cooling power and higher BTU ratings like 1800. opposed to common single hose cheaper units of 1200BTU.

The first thing is to take the intake hose off and plug the window hole for the intake 😮 then you will be using the cooler air from inside your house, just like using the recirculation button in your cars ac and if you know how that works??? It made a huge difference with my unit and now it's nice and cool 😎
